Eligibility
- Resident individuals, singly or jointly, who are salaried or earn from business, profession or agriculture may apply.
- The applicant must own the residential property or terrace rights and intend to take a fresh Bank of Baroda home loan under the composite route.
- The purpose is a grid-connected residential rooftop solar system up to 10 kW; industrial, commercial, government and semi-government projects are excluded.
- Minimum age is 21; the published maximum is up to 75, subject to repayment-before-age conditions.
- For loans above ₹2 lakh, salaried applicants need at least one year of employment and non-salaried applicants at least two years in business/
profession; this vintage rule is waived up to ₹2 lakh.
Passing a listed condition does not mean the bank will approve an application.

- For loans above ₹2 lakh: last three months' salary slips and Form 16/
for salaried applicants; two years' for non-salaried applicants; latest competent-authority income certificate for agriculturists; and the bank statement receiving salary or business proceeds for the last six months. - No income document is required up to a ₹2 lakh loan limit; the bank may request other case-specific documents.
