The short version
You can browse without an account. Optional analytics and marketing storage are denied until you choose otherwise. We do not accept bank applications or ask for PAN, Aadhaar, account credentials, card numbers or OTPs.
Who is responsible
IndiaBanks.org is built and operated by Azonova. This policy applies to the website, its public data files and read-only machine interfaces. RBI, banks and other linked services have their own privacy practices.
Information processed
- Delivery and security data: Cloudflare may process IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent and security signals to deliver and protect the service.
- Analytics data: if you permit analytics, Google Analytics may receive page URL, page title, approximate location, browser and device information, referral source, session information, scroll depth, downloads, outbound-link activity and interactions with filters or comparison controls. Typed search text, email addresses and financial details are deliberately excluded from custom analytics events.
- Marketing consent: if you accept marketing storage, Google may use advertising-related storage, signals and consented data according to your settings and Google’s policies.
- Information you submit: if you email us or use a current or future enquiry form, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you choose to provide.
- Local browser state: search and filter state may be held in your browser. Your consent choice is stored locally so the site can remember it.
Cookies and consent choices
Necessary delivery and security features operate without optional consent. Google Analytics and advertising-related storage default to denied. You may choose “Analytics only”, “Accept all”, or “Reject optional”. You can change or withdraw the choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not invalidate processing already performed lawfully.
How information is used
We use information to operate and secure the site, understand aggregate usage, improve navigation and comparisons, respond to messages, investigate corrections, measure communication performance and develop Azonova products and services.
If you voluntarily submit contact or enquiry information, Azonova may use it to respond and, where permitted by applicable law or your consent, to send relevant product, service or marketing communications. You can opt out at any time. We do not use sensitive banking or identity information for marketing and ask you not to provide it.
Sharing and service providers
Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security. Google provides analytics and, only where enabled, advertising-related measurement. Email providers process correspondence. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the service or answer a valid legal request. We do not sell personal information or bank-application leads.
Retention
Consent choices remain in your browser until cleared or changed. Google Analytics retention follows the property settings configured by Azonova. Operational logs follow the hosting and security configuration in effect. Correspondence and enquiry information are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, dispute handling, security or legal obligations.
Access, correction, withdrawal and deletion
Email contact@azonova.com with the subject “IndiaBanks.org data request” and state whether you seek access, correction, marketing opt-out, consent withdrawal or deletion. Include the email address or other information needed to locate the record, but do not send identity or banking documents unless we specifically and securely request what is reasonably necessary to verify the request. We will acknowledge and handle verified requests within the period required by applicable law, subject to records we must retain for legal, security or dispute purposes.
Security
We use HTTPS and reasonable technical controls, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Never send passwords, OTPs, full card or account numbers, PAN, Aadhaar, KYC files or bank statements to IndiaBanks.org.
Children
The site is intended for general audiences and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian may contact us about information sent by a child.
Changes
Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Where applicable, we will request fresh consent before using personal data for a materially different purpose.
