Eligibility

  • Resident individual applicants whose income is considered for eligibility should have been employed or engaged in business or profession for at least three years; a service break of up to three months may be allowed.
  • The minimum average gross annual income for the last three years is ₹3 lakh for resident individuals, including eligible co-applicant income.
  • Resident individuals, and eligible proprietorships, partnerships, private companies, unlisted public companies and can apply, subject to the page's separate conditions.

Passing a listed condition does not mean the bank will approve an application.

Documents the bank lists

  • Duly completed and signed application form; separate Form 135 is not required.
  • Two passport-size photographs of each applicant, co-applicant and guarantor.

  • Self-employed or professional applicants: balance sheets and profit-and-loss accounts with individual Income Tax Returns for the last three years, certified by a chartered accountant, plus a note describing the business or profession, organisation, clients and suppliers.
  • applicants: employment contract, latest salary slips or self-employed financials as applicable, employer identity card, work permit, visa, account passbook or statement, overseas account statement for six months, bio-data with supporting proof, guarantor forms with net-worth or income proof, and any required remittance undertaking.
  • Property documents: original title deeds with the complete chain of title, latest maintenance/water-tax/municipal-tax receipts, non-encumbrance letter from a cooperative society where applicable, permission to create an equitable mortgage, society confirmation of the bank's lien where applicable, and any document required by the bank's panel advocate.
