Eligibility
- Target groups: Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard personnel; Central Forces personnel of Assam Rifles, Border Security Forces, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Central Industrial Security Force and Central Reserve Police Force.
- Serving employees are eligible. Retired pensioners must also be gainfully employed or engaged in business/
profession for at least 1 year if salaried or 2 years if non-salaried. - For applicants/
co-applicants whose income is counted, the page requires at least 1 year of salaried employment or 2 years in business/ profession; a service break up to 3 months may be allowed. - Minimum age: borrower 21 years and co-applicant 18 years. The Bank says maximum age may be considered up to 70 years.
- Close relatives under the Baroda Home Loan definition may join as co-applicants. A non-relative may be considered only if they jointly own the property.
- Published income-band rules are repayment-capacity limits, not a minimum salary threshold; the current page gives no fixed rupee minimum income.
Passing a listed condition does not mean the bank will approve an application.
Documents the bank lists
- Yoddha-specific: employment certificate signed by the Commanding Officer or Officer Commanding, showing applicant name, rank, unit, service number, -card number, photograph, signature and the certificate's purpose.
- The Yoddha page also requires the documents in the linked Baroda Home Loan checklist. That exact checklist timed out; do not treat the following general guide as a replacement checklist.
- General home-loan guide: completed and signed application; 2 passport-size photographs; one identity proof (, Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ); age proof (, Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or birth certificate); and permanent-address proof (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence, bank passbook or utility bill).
- Salaried applicants: Form 16, employer letter confirming employment and duration, salary slips for the last 3–6 months, filed income-tax returns for the last 3 years, salary-credit account statement and investment proof if any.
- Self-employed applicants: business-address proof, filed tax returns for the last 3 years, -audited/
attested balance sheet and profit-and-loss statements, applicable business/ professional licence and establishment registration, and business-account statement. - Property papers as applicable: society/builder NOC; registered sale deed, allotment letter or stamped sale agreement; occupancy certificate for ready properties; maintenance/utility bills and property-tax receipts; advance-payment receipts; building plan; land-tax/possession records; seller/builder payment statement; and construction-cost estimate for construction loans.
