Eligibility

  • The facility is available only to the depositor against an eligible SBI NRO, NRE or FCNR(B) deposit.
  • The loan cannot be repatriated abroad and cannot fund re-lending, agricultural or plantation activity, or real-estate business investment.
  • Branch, currency, margin, repayment and premature-withdrawal rules vary by the deposit and facility selected.

Passing a listed condition does not mean the bank will approve an application.
