Travel Credit eligibility and exclusionsPrimary and additional-card spends accrue to the primary account, but only post-enrolment eligible spend earns Travel Credits. Excluded: disputed transactions, Encash, ATM withdrawals, Flexipay, merchant EMI, cash advances, financial charges, education, utilities, insurance, quasi-cash, fuel, wallet loading and rent/property management. Travel-spend MCCs include the complete airline, travel-agent, transport, car-rental and hotel list published in the terms; network MCC changes may apply without customer notice.
Source 20
Travel Credit life, transfer and closure rulesTravel Credits expire 24 months after accrual and cannot be combined with another SBI Card's points. Only the primary cardholder may transfer to their own participating loyalty account; processing may take up to 21 days and transfers are final. On voluntary card closure, credits may be redeemed within 30 days; otherwise they lapse. Other cancellation forfeits them; blocking or suspension forfeits them unless SBI Card later reinstates them. A flip to another SBI Card converts Travel Credits to Reward Points, while replacement or renewal into another MILES variant transfers them.
Source 21
Travel Credit redemption values1 Travel Credit equals ₹1 for airline miles or hotel points, ₹0.50 for travel bookings and ₹0.25 for Shop & Smile catalogue; statement-debit adjustment uses ₹0.50 per Reward Point. Partner conversion ratios vary. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or credit or used for cash advances; redemption requires a card that is not overdue, suspended, blocked, cancelled or terminated and may be performed only by the primary cardholder through the SBI Card website or app.
Source 22
Reward fulfilment and disputesPhysical reward delivery is targeted within 15 days on a best-effort basis; delivery disputes must be raised within 30 days of the redemption request. Fraud or abuse can forfeit credits and terminate the card. Customer information supplied for redemption may be used for administration or marketing; taxes and government/merchant charges are borne by the cardholder.

Air-accident, cancellation and travel claims require ticket purchase with the SBI Card. Checked-baggage loss requires an international flight and total loss; valuables and partial loss are excluded. Baggage delay must exceed 12 hours and requires airline non-delivery/PIR evidence plus invoices.
