Cashback calculation, posting and conditionsOnline/ offline status follows network and acquirer indicators; MCCs may change. Cashback is credited within two working days after statement generation and accrues by transaction posting/ settlement date. Returns, refunds, disputes and reversals adjust or reverse cashback; a post-statement return is adjusted within two days after the next statement. EMI-converted transactions earn no cashback, even if the EMI is later foreclosed; Merchant EMI and Flexipay EMI are excluded. Transactions below ₹100 are excluded, and cashback is rounded down per transaction. The account must be valid and in good standing; add-on earnings go to the primary account. Cashback is personal, non-transferable and cannot be combined with other SBI Card points. The FAQ says Cashback does not expire; clauses 11.5–11.7 separately list forfeiture on termination and certain cancellation, block/ suspension, delinquency, settlement, fraud and regulatory events. The issuer sources do not explain how the FAQ's no-expiry statement interacts with those forfeiture clauses.View source
The says Cashback does not expire, while the booklet lists specific forfeiture events. Both statements are preserved because the official sources do not explain the interaction.
